Smooth Clinic Reviews 2005
October 2005 was a very busy month for Swim
Smooth. We ran 4 full-day Clinics in Ealing, Salford, Belfast
and Dundalk, with two consecutive evening "mini clinics"
featuring seminar and practical sessions in Crosby and Birkenhead
for the Mersey TRI Club. We also conducted over twenty subsequent
One-2-One sessions for people wishing to brush-up a little more
on their freestyle strokes. All in all, Swim Smooth visited and
taught over 140 people across the UK in October 2005. With such
a positive response it has prompted us to set up a series of additional
Clinics across the UK in March
2006. Here are some of their comments and we are proud
to say that 100% of all UK Swim Smooth Clinic attendees have stated
that they would recommend us to their friends:

Additional Comments:
Thanks for the great day at the Swim Smooth
Clinic in Dundalk. It was very informative and a fresh new look
at things - just sorry ye weren't around 20 yrs ago!!!!!
Johnny McCabe, Seldr Triathlon Club, Dundalk, Republic
of Ireland. October 2005.
Just a quick note to thank
you for running the course today with so few of us! It was extremely
useful, enjoyable and has increased my enthusiasm no end!
I'm thrilled with my improvements so far,
considering that I couldn't swim 10 metres before buying your
DVD!, and determined to be able to swim 1500 metres freestyle
by the spring of next year.

There is a distinct lack of swim coaching on
the Island (Isle of Wight) and our swim frustrations were running
high. Paul and Michelle caught our eye in Bournemouth this year
(at the Triathlon Expo) and we took a chance and invited them
to do a seminar for our small Tri Club:
"Hum", we thought, "we shall
see how it goes..."
Well, the seminar was brilliant - there was a sort of quietness
as Paul went through his routines. You could hear people thinking
- "oh yes, mm-I must concentrate on that...". Thirteen
of us attended (a third of our membership) of which 8 or 9 were
impressed enough to have an hour personal coaching at reasonable
expense but with a high payback. Paul would quickly pick out a
couple of major points, with Michelle filming and you left with
a video-CD of yourself highlighting what you needed to concentrate
on and a set of drills to help you get to where you want to be.
Our club was left with enthusiasm reborn, more
cohesion among members and - a training programme!

of Wight Triathlon Club Committee.
Thanks for the weekend.........very
enjoyable and incredibly revealing. Dean, Sue, Vanessa and I all
did a session this morning and boy does it feel good.....I'm rapt!
Dean showed me the pool buoy one with 12 meters feet pointed then
not.............freaked me out..........just shows in my case
in particular what problems that causes...e.g. legs sink. We will
keep in touch to report our spectacular progress!
Gerard and Vanessa, Albany
Triathlon Club Committee, Western Australia.
I have had various lessons
for sport, music and work related training and can honestly say
that I got more out of the hour and a half I spent with you that
day than any other form of training I've had in my 37 years alive.
I love triathlon and had decided to just struggle through the
swim legs and target the others but am now giving swimming the
attention that I need to and enjoying it!
Scott, Albany Triathlon
Club Committee, Western Australia.
The members of the Albany
triathlon club thoroughly enjoyed Paul's blackboard session and
coupled with his personal training in the pool have helped us
become more efficient and faster swimmers - can't wait for the
start of the season!
Dean, Albany Triathlon Club
Committee, Western Australia.
