11 stroke rate tracks are included on the CD-ROM. Simply time your strokes to the beep to give yourself precise stroke rate control. Improve your current timing, increase your stroke rate to remove deadspots in your stroke or slow your stroke rate to help you lengthen out. Stroke rate control could be just what you need to improve your swimming technique - and Swim Smooth are experts in doing this. Also included are 31 lap-interval tracks for 25m, 33m and 50m pools. These set you a precise swimming pace to swim at. For instance you could select the tracks to give yourself 2:10 per 100m, 1:40 per 100m or 1:20 per 100m. As you swim the tracks will beep when you should reach halfway down the length or the end of the length. No struggling to try to look at your watch - simply pace your swim to the beep and dramatically improve your pacing skills.

Most swimmers and triathletes have very poor pacing technique - these tracks will highlight to you what your pacing skills are like. Most world records are set with perfectly even pacing or a slight negative split (meaning the second half of the race is swum slightly quicker than the first). But nearly all amateur swimmers and triathletes do the opposite - they start much too fast and then fade - big mistake. Improve your pacing skills and you'll instantly set faster race times!
