"Swim Smooth:Clean-up
Your Stroke" Ultra Effective Formula!

Smooth Design Info:
Ever wondered why the Swim Smooth logo is
as colourful and 'bizarre' as it is? Back in August 2004 when
we were designing the logo and concept behind the Swim Smooth
brand image we decided that we'd like a look that resembled
an old soap box advert. Why? Well, the full name that we assigned
to the Swim Smooth brand in those early days was "Swim
Smooth: Clean-up Your Stroke!" as such the concept
of "cleaning-up your stroke" lent itself to an association
with cleaning products, or specifically, a soap box.
Have a look to the left at one of our original
video analysis and swim
stroke correction service fliers from about August 2004
(just before filming of the Swim Smooth DVD Boxset began). As
you can see our stroke correction process has always been very
structured in its approach from an initial consultation with
video analysis ("Full Shampoo and Rinse"),
to a session concentrated on addressing your individual idiosyncracies
("Wax and Polish"), to a series of sessions
aimed at allowing the swimmer to take what has been learnt in
the previous sessions and apply this to their normal training
regime ("Swim Away").
Whilst we have had a few comments that it
seems "weird" that we don't include a picture or image
of a swimmer in our logo, we firmly believe that the Swim Smooth
brand image fits our philosophy
and methodology perfectly.
