Swimmers of all abilities, from beginners to advanced triathletes, can benefit from the Swim Smooth Experience. Whether you're looking to improve your technique, gain confidence in open water, or boost your fitness, we cater to your individual needs. As a general rule of thumb, for most of our Experiences, we'll be swimming a total of between 2km and 7km per day and a recommended minimum speed would be 2:15/100m.

Unlike generic swim camps, the Swim Smooth Experience is fully customized to you. We use video analysis and personalized stroke correction to address your unique challenges and help you progress faster.

Our Swim Smooth Experience is limited to just 12 participants, ensuring you receive the focused attention and tailored coaching that Swim Smooth is famous for.

Cancellation Policy for Swim Smooth Experience

We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as flexible as possible while ensuring that we can offer the best experience to all participants. Our cancellation policy balances the needs of our guests with the commitments required to deliver a high-quality Swim Smooth Experience. Please review the details below:

Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellations Made More Than 60 Days Before Departure: A full refund of the total amount paid will be provided, minus a 10% administration fee. This fee covers the costs associated with processing your booking and cancellation.

2. Cancellations Between 30 and 60 Days Before Departure: A 50% refund of the total amount paid will be provided. Alternatively, you can choose to transfer the full amount paid to a future Swim Smooth Experience within 12 months of your original booking, subject to availability.

3. Cancellations Less Than 30 Days Before Departure: No refunds will be provided. If you need to cancel within this period, you may transfer your booking to another person, provided that they meet all Swim Smooth Experience requirements. This transfer must be arranged at least 7 days before the trip start date, and any additional costs incurred in the transfer will be the responsibility of the original guest.

4. Cancellation Due to Medical Reasons: In the event of cancellation due to serious illness or injury, we may offer a partial refund or transfer to a future Swim Smooth Experience, at our discretion, upon receipt of a medical certificate. Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all participants to cover such situations.

5. Cancellation by Swim Smooth: In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a Swim Smooth Experience due to unforeseen circumstances (such as extreme weather, low participant numbers, or other factors beyond our control), you will have the option of a full refund or a transfer to another Swim Smooth Experience within 12 months. We will not be liable for any additional costs you may incur, such as flights or other travel arrangements, so please ensure your travel insurance covers such possibilities.
   

How to Cancel

• To cancel your booking, please notify us in writing via email. Cancellations will be effective from the date we receive your email.

• Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of receiving your cancellation request.

Travel Insurance for Your Swim Smooth Experience

We strongly recommend that all participants obtain comprehensive travel insurance, as it is a condition of booking. Your policy should include, but not be limited to, coverage for illness, accidents, emergency repatriation, ambulance services, air ambulance, helicopter rescue, trip cancellations, lost luggage, and delays. It’s also important that your insurance covers open water swimming and any other activities listed in your itinerary, including races and competitions if applicable. Be sure to read through the details of your policy and carry a copy with you during your trip for easy reference.

For UK residents, while medical treatment within the UK may be covered through the NHS, we still advise securing travel insurance to protect against potential trip cancellations, lost baggage, and personal liability.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the travel insurance you select is adequate for your needs during the Swim Smooth Experience. Please note that we cannot recommend or endorse specific insurance providers or policies.

Medical Waiver for Swim Smooth Experience

Participant Waiver, Release, and Assumption of Risk Agreement

By signing this waiver, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions as a participant in the Swim Smooth Experience ("the Experience"). I understand that the Experience involves physical activity, including but not limited to open water swimming, pool training, and other water-based activities, and that there are inherent risks associated with such activities. I certify that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk

• I acknowledge that participation in the Experience involves risks, including but not limited to risks of injury, illness, and even death. These risks may result from, but are not limited to:

• Drowning or near-drowning.

• Exposure to changing weather conditions, water conditions, currents, and marine life.

• Physical exertion during swimming, drills, and other training activities.

• Pre-existing medical conditions.

• I am voluntarily participating in the Experience with full knowledge of the risks involved and agree to accept all risks, whether known or unknown.
  

2. Medical Condition and Fitness to Participate

• I certify that I am physically fit and have no medical conditions that would prevent my safe participation in the Experience.

• I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a qualified medical professional to ensure that I am in appropriate physical condition to participate in the Experience.

• I agree to notify Swim Smooth and its representatives of any medical conditions, injuries, or medications that may affect my ability to participate safely.
  

3. Release of Liability

• I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Swim Smooth, its employees, agents, contractors, coaches, volunteers, and all other persons or entities acting in any capacity on their behalf, from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action related to any loss, damage, injury, or death that may occur as a result of my participation in the Experience, whether arising from negligence or any other cause.
  

4. Indemnity Agreement

• I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Swim Smooth and its employees, agents, contractors, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action brought by any third party due to any injury, damage, or loss I may cause, directly or indirectly, during my participation in the Experience.
  

5. Medical Treatment Authorization

• In the event of an emergency, I authorize Swim Smooth and its representatives to secure medical treatment on my behalf if deemed necessary, including but not limited to first aid, emergency transportation, and medical services. I understand that I am responsible for any costs associated with such medical care.

• I acknowledge that Swim Smooth is not responsible for the adequacy or quality of any medical care I may receive and agree to hold them harmless from any claims arising from any such care.
  

6. Insurance

• I understand that Swim Smooth does not provide health, accident, or travel insurance for participants. It is my responsibility to obtain adequate travel insurance, including coverage for medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and any activities undertaken during the Experience.
  

7. Photo and Video Release

• I consent to the use of photographs, videos, and other media taken during the Experience that may include my likeness for promotional, educational, or informational purposes by Swim Smooth without compensation.
  

8. Acknowledgment of Understanding

• I have read this waiver, fully understand its terms, and understand that by signing it, I am giving up substantial rights, including my right to sue. I acknowledge that I am signing this agreement freely and voluntarily, and intend my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
